In this podcast I am speaking to Director of Athlete Development at AUT Millenium, Dr Craig Harrison. Craig is also a research fellow at AUT and leads the athletic development research group so is a pretty busy guy. It was great to get a fellow podcaster on and from a very selfish point of view, its interesting to know the process he goes through to get his podcast out there, how he chooses guests etc. For all those out there that work with youth athletes, this one is definitely for you. Enjoy.
In this episode, you will learn -
- Who is Craig Harrison (background, education & current role)
- The Athlete Development Show
- Why you do the podcast
- Translating research to practice

- Designing environments for youth development
- Play vs deliberate practice
